Description

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an exhilarating real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game designed for competitive player versus player (PvP) action. In WOE, one player can initiate a match, inviting others to join in the fray, where they can control a vast array of units and buildings, providing a high degree of strategic freedom.

Main Elements:

WOE immerses players in the rich tapestry of medieval history, simulating 18 powerful Empires, from China and Japan to Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, Maya, and more. Each Empire boasts 8 types of regular units alongside a unique unit, adding depth to the strategic gameplay. For example, Mongolia has Riders, Persia boasts War Elephants, and Spain features Conquistadors.

The regular units include:

  1. Swordsman: A versatile and common unit.
  2. Pikeman: Effective against Cavalry but vulnerable to arrows.
  3. Archers: Strong against Pikemen but susceptible to Cavalry.
  4. Light Cavalry: Known for speed and mobility, ideal for harassing enemies.
  5. Aries: Specialized for attacking buildings.

Buildings in WOE include Towers, Turrets, Castles, and Blacksmith Shops. Towers, for instance, can launch a barrage of 6 arrows when manned by 5 farmers, while Turrets are focused on demolishing enemy structures.

Each Empire in the game has its strengths and weaknesses, adding layers to the strategy. For example, the Huns don't need to construct houses, saving time and resources, with their Cavalry being 20% cheaper and upgradable to Rangers. The Teutonic warriors, reminiscent of Spartan warriors, are formidable but slow-moving.

Highlights:

The core of WOE's gameplay revolves around multitasking key objectives:

  1. Develop Economy: Maximize farmer production and resource collection, using Town Centers (TC) and Towers as temporary shelters.
  2. Harass Enemies: Early on, deploy small units to disrupt enemy farmers and gain an edge.
  3. Destroy Enemies: Engage and defeat opposing forces.

Teamwork and understanding unit counters are crucial. For instance, Pikemen counter Cavalry, Cavalry counters Archers, and Archers counter Pikemen. Special units like the Slave (riding a camel) can also counter Cavalry, while the Koryo Carriage can outrange other ranged units.

Game Modes:

In WOE, players manage two resources: Food and Gold. As the game progresses, players can advance their TC through different eras (Dark Ages to Feudal, Castle, and Emperor), unlocking new technologies, buildings, and units.

The game simplifies into four primary modes, with Normal and Imperial Deathmatch being the most popular:

  1. Normal Mode: With limited resources, focus on development and early harassment. This mode is complex yet engaging.
  2. Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Start in the Emperor era with ample resources, allowing for immediate and intense battles.

Main Features:

After four years of operation in China and numerous updates, WOE has reached version 1.8.n. Its key features include:

  1. Player vs CPU: Hone your skills against computer opponents.
  2. Network Play: Compete against players online.
  3. Spectators: Watch others play and learn new strategies.
  4. Replay: Analyze past matches to improve your gameplay.
  5. Making Map: Design your own battlefields.
  6. Legion: Form alliances and coordinate with other players.
  7. Friends: Connect and play with friends.
  8. Chats: Communicate with other players in real-time.

With its deep strategic elements and diverse gameplay modes, War of Empire Conquest offers a rich and engaging experience for RTS enthusiasts on mobile devices.
