Description

This OBD2 engine ECU diagnostics tool utilizes a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth ELM327 adapter to provide comprehensive vehicle diagnostics. The app displays data from various electronic control units (ECUs), offering real-time graphical representations that can be saved and reviewed later. It also displays and resets engine fault codes (DTCs).

You can configure minimum/maximum thresholds for each sensor/PID, triggering an alarm when these limits are exceeded. The app supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi ELM327 OBD adapters, though versions 1.5 to 2.1 are recommended due to reported issues with other versions.

Important Note: ELM327 chips are compatible only with OBD2-compliant vehicles:

  • USA: 1996 and later
  • Europe: 2001 and later (gasoline), 2003 and later (diesel)
  • Japan: Approximately 2000 and later

Beyond standard OBDII parameters, the app supports extended parameters for various car brands, including:

  • BMW - (DIESEL, E91+AT)
  • BYD - (MT20U, ABS)
  • Chery - (MT20U, MT20U2, ActecoME797)

Note: Not all listed PIDs for a given brand may be supported by your specific vehicle. You can select desired PID types in "Settings / PID types." Some Mitsubishi models allow control of certain systems (cooling fan, fuel pump, etc.). For MUT parameter reading and actuator control on CAN-bus Mitsubishi models (Montero/Pajero IV, Outlander 2, etc.), configure a profile with the ISO 9141-2 protocol. (Note: Not all Mitsubishi CAN-bus models support ISO 9141-2.) Custom parameter creation is also possible.
