EA Motive and SEED are set to unveil their cutting-edge "Texture Sets" technology at the upcoming Game Developers Conference, showcasing how this innovation will enhance games like Dead Space and Iron Man. This modern approach involves consolidating related texture sets into a single resource, streamlining processing and enabling the creation of new, dynamic textures. The session will be spearheaded by EA's lead technical artist, Martin Palko, who will delve into the intricacies of texture and graphic development.

During this demonstration, fans are eagerly anticipating the possibility of seeing actual gameplay footage or gaining new insights into the much-anticipated Iron Man game. Announced back in 2022, details about the project have been scarce, fueling speculation about its potential cancellation. However, EA Motive's participation in GDC is a clear indication that development is actively progressing. The conference is scheduled to run from March 17 to 21, 2025.

As it stands, the Iron Man game is slated to be a single-player experience, incorporating RPG elements within an open-world setting, and will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. Additionally, EA Motive is expected to leverage the flight system technology from their previous work on Anthem, promising an immersive and thrilling gameplay experience for fans of Tony Stark's adventures.
