Kicking off the Path of the Ninja saga is Naruto: Konoha Ninpōchō, a 2003 release exclusive to Japan's Bandai WonderSwan Color handheld system. This console, launched in 1999, never saw international distribution, limiting the game's reach. The game's narrative centers on the Land of Waves arc, enhanced with additional missions featuring Team 7.

  1. Naruto: Konoha Senki (2003)

Another Japan-only title, Naruto: Konoha Senki, developed by Tomy for the Game Boy Advance, arrived in 2003. This adventure covers the anime's first 70 episodes, encompassing the Land of Waves and Chūnin Exams arcs. Initially, players control only Team 7 and Kakashi, with additional characters unlockable upon progression.

Despite the "RPG 2" designation, this Nintendo DS title (2005, Tomy, Japan-exclusive) is a direct sequel to Path of the Ninja. The storyline follows the Search for Tsunade arc, concluding with Sasuke's escape from Konoha.

Concluding the series is Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 (Tomy, 2006 Japan release, global 2008). This Nintendo DS game departs from the canon storyline, presenting an original narrative featuring the Three Ryūdōin Brothers and a unique Anbu ally character.

These five games, while uniquely titled, collectively form a significant part of the Naruto gaming legacy.
