This crossover seamlessly blends the game's detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a historic city bordering the Gobi Desert.
What Awaits in "Ballad of the Dunes"?
This event is a captivating blend of history, romance, and mystery, all set against the backdrop of the ancient Silk Road. Players will unravel intriguing mysteries steeped in the region's rich past.
The highlight? Four new MR cards featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each inspired by distinct aspects of Dunhuang's culture. Expect stunning designs featuring flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the traditional pipa. The artistic style mirrors the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves, reflecting the Silk Road's vibrant artistic and cultural exchange during the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD). HoYoverse masterfully brings this historical richness to life within the Tears of Themis universe.
Each card boasts a unique story: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation." Private Messages accompanying the cards offer a deeper exploration of this thousand-year-old journey.

From February 13th to February 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A core challenge involves a cell-flipping game board mechanic to uncover these prizes.
