Torpor Games is celebrating the 4th anniversary of their narrative government simulation game, Suzerain, with a major mobile relaunch on December 11th, 2024. Instead of minor updates, players can expect a fully revamped mobile experience.
Initially launched on Android in December 2022, Suzerain puts players in the shoes of Sordland's president, navigating complex political landscapes and making impactful decisions. The relaunch introduces significant enhancements.
The Kingdom of Rizia Expands the Narrative:
This update brings complete narrative parity with the PC version. Players can now experience the political intricacies of both the Republic of Sordland and the newly added Kingdom of Rizia.
New Progression System and Cloud Saves:
Political Influence Levels and Story Points streamline progression. Daily challenges and achievements grant XP, unlocking rewards and accelerating access to story content. A new cloud save system protects player progress, though cross-platform saves aren't yet available.
Freemium Model with Options:
Suzerain's mobile relaunch adopts a freemium model. Players can enjoy the game for free by watching ads to earn Story Points. Alternatively, premium story packs for Sordland ($19.99) and Rizia ($14.99) offer ad-free access. Subscription options, ranging from daily to monthly, are also available, alongside a Lifetime Pass for complete, permanent, ad-free access.
