Last month, Tencent and Level Infinite made a significant announcement regarding the future of Alchemy Stars. Launched in June 2021 on mobile platforms, Alchemy Stars is set to transition from an online game to an offline version. This means that once the official shutdown occurs, players will still have the opportunity to relive the game's story in an offline mode.
When Is the Game Wrapping Up Its Services?
Alchemy Stars will cease its live service operations on January 24th, 2025. In preparation for the transition to the offline version, the game will undergo maintenance on January 10th from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT to deploy version 1.43.0. It's essential for players to update their game post-maintenance to utilize the new local data save feature. This feature is critical as it allows you to preserve all your progress. You'll find a data save button on the main page; simply tap it to navigate to a page where you can save your user data.
You have the option to save your data multiple times, but this feature will only be available until January 24th at 4:00 GMT. After this deadline, any unsaved data will be lost permanently.
Once Alchemy Stars transitions to its special offline edition, there will be no further updates. It's also important to note that if you delete the app, you won't be able to download it again, and reinstalling will not be an option. The offline version will allow you to explore your saved data, play through the story, and upgrade your units.
