A note on Alienware's newest "R16" desktop chassis
The R16 represents Alienware's 2024 desktop PC design, boasting a 40% smaller volume than its predecessors. It features an effective airflow system, drawing air through side intake vents over the GPU and a 120mm front fan, with exhaust managed by a 120mm rear fan and two 120mm top fans. The 240mm radiator for the all-in-one liquid cooling system is mounted to these top fans. While some configurations might skip the liquid cooling, we highly recommend it due to its superior performance over Alienware's stock air cooling. It's worth the extra cost. Note that Dell unveiled a new Area 51 chassis at CES 2025, but it closely resembles the R16 in both appearance and design.
