The key to success lies in thorough resource gathering. Don't overlook any item!
Collect everything in sight. Plants, flowers, animal products – all are valuable crafting components. Procrastination can lead to lengthy searches later on (as evidenced by my daisy hunt!).
Animal Grooming:
Grooming animals yields valuable materials. Select the grooming suit (brush icon) via the Tab key.
Approach animals and hold the right mouse button until a blue brush icon appears above them. This stealthy approach prevents them from fleeing. Some animals, like village dogs, are more cooperative.
Note: Not all animals are easily approachable. While combat skills can temporarily subdue them, stealth is the more efficient method.
Feather Collection:
Remember to collect feathers from birds. Rare birds yield valuable resources. Use the stealth approach to prevent them from flying away.
Fishing:
Fishing provides unique materials. Locate fishing spots (fish swimming in circles). Equip the fishing outfit (Tab key), and cast your line (right mouse button).
