First, progress through the Miri Fajta quest at the Nomads' Camp until the Voivode reveals Marika possesses the letter.
Return to Marika in Apollonia. Assist her in repelling a wolf attack. During your conversation with Marika, select the dialogue options: "He cares about you," followed by "I swear." She will then disclose the letter's hiding place – a tree near a nearby river.
Retrieve the letter from the tree. Before returning to the Voivode, speak with Tibor. He will propose a wager involving a horse race and a fistfight for the letter and an amulet.
