Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Weapon Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and Support
Jingle Hells, the holiday-themed map in Black Ops 6 Zombies, introduces unique mechanics for weapon upgrades and item acquisition. This guide details how to upgrade weapons, obtain Ammo Mods, and acquire equipment and support items.
Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells
Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies experience, the Arsenal Machine is absent in Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades are achieved using Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity tiers (color-coded). Using a higher-tier Aether Tool upgrades your weapon to that tier (e.g., a Purple/Legendary Aether Tool grants Legendary rarity). Aether Tools can be obtained in several ways:
- Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The higher the round, the higher the rarity of the dropped Aether Tool.
- Bank Vault: Loot Keys open safety deposit boxes within the Bank Vault, which may contain Aether Tools.
- S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, particularly achieving the highest reward tier, offers a chance to acquire Aether Tools.
- Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrade a weapon to Legendary rarity.
- Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as rounds progress.
Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells
Currently, only the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod is available in Jingle Hells. It drops as a consumable item and is primarily obtained from Holiday Presents. These presents contain random loot, with higher rarity drops in later rounds. Holiday Presents can be acquired through:
- Enemy Kills: They occasionally drop after eliminating enemies.
- Naughty or Nice Power-up: The stocking-shaped power-up grants either a "Nice" (multiple Holiday Presents) or "Naughty" (vermin enemies) effect.
- S.A.M. Machine: The S.A.M. Machine spawns Holiday Presents when it appears.
Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells
The Workbench is also absent in Jingle Hells, eliminating Salvage-based equipment crafting and Support items like Chopper Gunners. However, equipment and Support can still be found:
- Enemy Kills: Equipment drops from regular enemy kills.
- Holiday Presents: Can contain equipment.
- Special/Elite Enemy Kills: Support items drop from these enemies.
- S.A.M. Trials: Award equipment and Support.
- Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: May contain equipment and Support.
