After years of speculation, the much-anticipated details of the Nintendo Switch 2 have finally been unveiled, and the results are more impressive than many expected. The Nintendo Switch 2 not only supports up to 120fps but also boasts 4K resolution when docked, setting a new standard for gaming on the go and at home.

PlayDuring today's Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, Nintendo showcased several exciting features of the new system. The Nintendo Switch 2 features a larger 7.9-inch screen compared to its predecessor, maintaining the same thickness of 13.9mm. The screen resolution is doubled, supporting a crisp 1080p display in handheld mode at up to 120fps. It's equipped with an LCD screen that supports HDR, ensuring vibrant colors and high contrast. When docked, the system can deliver stunning visuals at up to 4K resolution with HDR.

The Joy-Con 2 controllers have been redesigned for enhanced user experience. They attach to the console via magnets and can be detached easily with a release button on the back. The SL and SR buttons on the sides are larger, improving comfort and control when playing in horizontal mode. Additionally, the left and right analog sticks have been enlarged. A notable new feature is the inclusion of mouse control support within the Joy-Con controllers.

The handheld version of the Nintendo Switch 2 comes with a built-in microphone featuring noise-canceling technology and supports 3D audio for compatible games, enriching the gaming experience. The console also includes a more robust and adjustable stand than the original Switch, allowing for various viewing angles. A top USB port adds versatility, enabling external camera connectivity or charging the system in tabletop mode.

Moreover, the Nintendo Switch 2 boasts 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for your gaming library.
