Pokémon GO's Wild Area Gets Giga Challenge

Pokémon GO's newest challenge: Gigantamax Pokémon! Prepare for epic Max Battles against colossal Gigantamax Pokémon, requiring teams of 10-40 Trainers to conquer. The GO Wild Area event is here!

Get Ready for Gigantamax Mayhem in Pokémon GO!

The GO Wild Area event introduces Toxtricity, the Punk Pokémon! Catch both regular and Dynamax Toxtricity by teaming up, participating in Max Battles, and potentially receiving it as a Special Research reward.

Gigantamax Pokémon drastically increase in size and change appearance. You'll need to assemble a squad of up to 40 Trainers to defeat them—strategy and coordination are key, along with plenty of Max Particles.

Max Particles power up your Pokémon's Max Moves, including the unique G-Max Moves for each Gigantamax species. The Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global event runs November 23rd and 24th. Check out the trailer!

Familiarize yourself with Dynamax Pokémon—red-glowing giants surrounded by swirling clouds. Trainers level 13 and above unlock the ‘To the Max!’ Special Research, leading them to these powerful creatures.

Power Spots, where Max Battles take place, appear randomly. Explore to locate them!
