Nintendo's Summer 2024 Magazine, a video game magazine primarily distributed by Nintendo Japan, unveiled a six-page feature article on Splatoon's, the company's third-person shooter game franchise, fictional music groups. These groups included:⚫︎ Shiver, Big Man, and Frye, otherwise known as the idol group "Deep Cut"
⚫︎ Pearl and Marina, otherwise known as the duo "Off The Hook"

"That natural beauty of Scorch Gorge was breathtaking! And I had so much fun squeezing through the Hagglefish Market crowds," Callie shared. "Plus, there are all these super-tall buildings out here! Amazing! It was definitely a tour I'll never forget."
While Callie recalled their epic time with the idol group exploring the Splatlands, Marie, meanwhile, teased her bandmate and told Off The Hook that they should all hang out together again. "I think Callie might cry at the memory of it," Marie said, then telling Off The Hook that they are due for their usual teatime that they haven't had in a while.
"Yeah, not since our tour kicked off," Marina said and offered to check out a new sweets shop in Inkpolis Square together, with Pearl additionally telling Frye that she was also invited. "You're invited too, Frye. We'll settle our score from the last karaoke battle!"
