Drawing its name from Steve Jobs' famous quote, "Here's to the Crazy Ones," this newly released game places you in the shoes of a male protagonist navigating the high-stakes world of big business. Alongside the corporate challenges, you'll delve into romance and drama as you date four distinct women: Hakuo, the dependable HR manager; Hyouka Natsume, the tsundere president of rival Natsume Technology Group; Chika Ono, an aspiring musician; and Tomoko, your protégé. The gameplay merges these narrative elements with turn-based battles that use cards based on the main character's memories.
Driving me crazy
There's a lot to unpack about Crazy Ones selling itself on the emotional bonds between the player and the characters, rather than just relying on fanservice. I could also mention the potential for an unexpected narrative twist, given the game's intriguing title. Nonetheless, I must acknowledge that Crazy Ones appears to be a solid visual novel-style game for fans of the genre.
