The Golden Idol Returns: Netflix Releases "The Rise of the Golden Idol"

The iconic Golden Idol from the 18th century is back, but this time, it's the 1970s! Netflix has unexpectedly released The Rise of the Golden Idol, the sequel to The Case of the Golden Idol.

This new installment takes place three centuries after its predecessor, immersing players in the groovy atmosphere of the 1970s – a time of disco, bell-bottoms, and nascent fax machine technology.

Unraveling the Mystery

Centuries after the Cloudsley family saga captivated audiences, the legend of the Golden Idol persists, albeit as whispers and myths. Now, a diverse group of individuals – relic hunters, cultists seeking enlightenment, and a team of scientists – are drawn to its potential reappearance.

As the investigator, your task is to solve a series of 20 cases, ranging from unsettling to supernatural, connecting these disparate events to the long-lost artifact. Expect a colorful cast of suspects, including suspicious prisoners, eccentric television personalities, and corporate figures concealing their own secrets.
