KonoSuba: Fantastic Days to Conclude Service in January 2025
The popular mobile RPG, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, developed by Sesisoft, will be ending its service on January 30th, 2025, after nearly five years of operation. Both the global and Japanese servers will shut down simultaneously. However, developers are planning a limited offline version, allowing players to revisit the main storyline, key quests, and events. Details regarding this offline version remain scarce.
In-App Purchases and Refunds
The official channels for the game will close on February 28th, 2025. In-app purchases have already been disabled as of October 31st, 2024. Players can still utilize existing in-game Quartz and items until the service ends. Refunds for unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 are available until January 30th, 2025, for eligible players.
A Look Back at KonoSuba: Fantastic Days
Initially launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days was the first mobile game adaptation of the KonoSuba franchise. The game's charming narrative, appealing visuals, and visual novel-style story mode were well-received.
Unfortunately, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days shares the fate of many gacha RPGs, succumbing to the challenges faced by numerous anime games this year. Factors such as declining player engagement and high production costs likely contributed to the decision.
If you haven't experienced KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, you have a few remaining months to do so before the servers close. Download it from the Google Play Store. For more gaming news, check out our article on Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild for PvP Battles.
