Enter The Gungeon, the acclaimed 2016 bullet-hell adventure, is launching a limited Android test in China. From June 28th to July 8th, Chinese players can experience a free demo on TapTap, offering a glimpse into the Gungeon's chaotic world.
This rogue-like adventure features unique runs, a diverse cast of misfit heroes, and challenging chambers filled with enemies. The Gungeon itself is a sprawling labyrinth. The mobile demo boasts redesigned controls and interface optimized for touchscreens, allowing for fluid movement and combat. A two-player online co-op mode lets you team up with a friend to conquer the Gungeon together.
The demo lets you explore the first two floors, battling quirky gun-toting enemies and bullet-hell bosses. You'll also get to use a selection of the game's extensive weapon arsenal, ranging from standard pistols to outlandish inventions.
Developer feedback is crucial during this testing phase. Report any bugs, glitches, or optimization suggestions via the TapTap page to help shape the game's development.
While the test is currently exclusive to China with a Chinese interface, the game's popularity suggests a global release is likely in the future, though no official date has been announced.
