The Roblox PvP first-person shooter, Rivals, has dropped Update 9, introducing the creative Gunblade weapon and a new Bridge map.
Developer Nosniy Games outlined the additions in the patch notes, highlighting a few minor tweaks while focusing on future development. This update is smaller than recent ones, but still offers engaging content.
The Gunblade, a combination rifle and blade, is a natural fit for Rivals' gameplay. Its dual functionality allows for surprising combat tactics, especially effective on the new Bridge map. This Seoul-based arena, created by @GreatGuyBoom, features close-quarters combat with limited cover.
The developers stated, "We value your feedback and assure you that all necessary improvements will be implemented in time for Ranked."

"We hope you enjoy the new map celebrating our Korean community! Following the holiday season, our next major update will include the Ranked mode. We intentionally omitted bug fixes, balance changes, and quality-of-life improvements this time; these will be addressed before the Ranked update."
