This season introduces a frigid tundra habitat teeming with exciting additions:

New Monsters: Face off against Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex, making their Monster Hunter Now debut. Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos also make appearances. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even randomly appear in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra is granted upon completing the prologue.

New Weapon: The Switch Axe: This versatile weapon offers the best of both worlds. Utilize powerful long-range attacks in Axe Mode, then switch to Sword Mode for devastating close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.

Customizable Palico Companions: Enlist the aid of your very own Palico, customizing its fur color, facial features, and name. AR functionality lets you bring your Palico into the real world for memorable photos.
