Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Sign-ups Open January 10th
The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign network test begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. This initial beta, however, will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in The Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. Targeting a 2025 release, the upcoming title will undergo at least one network test prior to launch.
Registration Details:
Starting January 10th, interested players can register via the official Elden Ring Nightreign website. While the number of available spots remains undisclosed, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails no later than February 2025, the planned month for the test. Specific test dates will be revealed soon.
Platform Limitations:
This initial network test is notably limited to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This excludes PS4, Xbox One, and PC players, representing less than half of the game's intended platforms. Furthermore, FromSoftware has confirmed no cross-platform multiplayer, meaning players will only be matched with others on the same console.
Test Details:
Progress made during the network test is unlikely to transfer to the full game. Whether additional betas will be released remains to be seen. The game itself will only support solo play or three-player parties, omitting the option for two-player groups. Any further gameplay restrictions for the beta haven't yet been announced.

- Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website on or after January 10th.
- Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
- Await your confirmation email.
- Participate in the test during February 2025.
