Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile action RPG featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the game's end-of-service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.
The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months remaining to enjoy the game before the servers are permanently closed.
A Look Back at Disney Mirrorverse:
Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse offered a compelling premise: action-packed battles featuring reimagined Disney and Pixar heroes. While initially exciting for Disney fans, the extended beta period and infrequent content updates led to player attrition.
The game's challenging shard collection system, requiring significant investment of time or money to fully develop characters, also contributed to its decline. Despite this, the game boasted impressive character designs and high-quality graphics.
The recent addition of Cinderella as a playable character and new story content just a week before the EOS announcement surprised many players. Unfortunately, this isn't Kabam's first abrupt game shutdown; Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off suffered similar fates.
