On January 18, Deadlock introduced four new heroes to the roster, and just days later, the developers rolled out balance adjustments. Holliday's ability, Crackshot, now triggers on units as well, with its cooldown halved in such scenarios. Meanwhile, Calico's ability, Ava, can now destroy objects she encounters while running.
The update didn't neglect the older heroes either. Kelvin's health received a boost from 600 to 650, and Vendicta's bullet speed was dialed back from 810 to 740, with her movement speed dropping from nine to eight. In total, 11 heroes, including the newcomers, saw targeted tweaks.
Deadlock remains in closed beta, maintaining an active player base that fluctuates between 7,000 and 20,000 users online at any given time.
