Familiar Runeterra regions provide the backdrop for strategic depth. Build decks using cards from nine regions: Demacia, Noxus, Freljord, Piltover & Zaun, Ionia, Targon, Shurima, Shadow Isles, and Bandle City. Experiment with diverse regional combinations to gain an edge. Regular updates and a constantly evolving meta guarantee fresh challenges.
Forge Your Own Path
In PvE mode, your choices shape your journey. Face unique opponents, collect and equip power-ups, unlock heroes, and overcome map-spanning challenges. Your enemies grow stronger, and so will you, leading to multiple possible story endings.
Skill-Based Progression, Not Pay-to-Win
Earn cards through gameplay or purchase specific cards using gem shards and mystery cards. You control your deck entirely, eliminating the need for random loot boxes. While you can buy desired heroes directly, completing your collection is entirely possible without spending money. Each match awards experience points to boost your progress, letting you unlock cards and explore regions at your own pace.
Weekly Treasure Chests offer more rewards. The more you play, the better the loot, with increasing card rarity (from common to champion level) and mystery cards convertible into any card.
Experiment and Create in the Lab
The Lab (currently in testing) offers a limited-time mode with modified gameplay mechanics. Use pre-built decks with specific restrictions or your own creations. The rules are constantly changing, sometimes requiring teamwork!
Compete for Glory and Prizes
Each season, 1,024 top players from four regions (Americas, Europe, Asia, and Southeast Asia) compete in the Seasonal Tournament for prestige, accolades, and cash prizes. Ranked play and Final Battle mode also offer paths to qualification. Limited-time Duel modes provide unique rules and rewards.
