How to Play 101 Okey Vip Offline

101 Okey Vip is a multi-round game played with four players. The objective is to finish each round with the fewest points possible, with the player accumulating the least points across all rounds declared the winner. Points are calculated based on the numbers on the remaining tiles; for instance, a red 3 equates to three points, while a black 11 equates to 11 points. The game concludes when no tiles remain in the deck or when a player completes their hand.

Getting Started with the Game

Once a dealer is selected, they distribute 21 stones to each player and 22 stones to the player on their right. The remaining stones are placed face down on the table, with one stone left face up to determine the joker (OKEY stone). The game proceeds counterclockwise, starting with the player to the right of the dealer who has 22 stones. This player begins by discarding a tile without drawing one. Play continues with each player either drawing a tile from the deck or picking up the last discarded tile. If a player's hand totals 101 points, they can open their hand by arranging and placing their series on the table next to other series. If a player cannot add to the table, they end their turn by discarding a tile. Every player must discard a tile to complete their turn, even if they have opened their entire hand.

Joker (Okey Stone or Riziko)

The joker stone, which changes with each game, is determined by the face-up tile. Two joker tiles (fake jokers) represent the number one higher than the face-up tile. Jokers have a distinct appearance and are represented by 'fake jokers' which denote their value. For example, if the indicator tile is a blue 5, the real jokers in play are the two blue 6s, and the fake jokers are valued as blue 6.

Deals and Showing Hands

To open a hand, you must accumulate at least 101 points. This can be achieved with three or four sets of different colors with the same numbers (e.g., black 5, red 5, and blue 5) or a sequential set of numbers in the same color (e.g., red 7, 8, 9). A set must contain a minimum of three stones. You can add to existing opened sets once you've reached the 101-point threshold and opened your hand. If you pick up a discarded tile, you must use it. If you haven't yet opened your hand, you must do so upon picking up the discarded tile, and it must be part of your opened set. If the tile cannot be used, it is returned, and you draw from the deck instead, with no penalty points incurred for this action.

Doubles

Alternatively, you can open your hand by collecting at least five pairs of tiles. A pair consists of two identical stones. Once you open your hand with doubles, you cannot open a normal set in the same game, but you can add to other players' sets on the table.
