Piston requires a separate ELM327 Bluetooth or Wi-Fi OBD2 adapter. It's compatible with OBD-II (OBDII, OBD2), and EOBD standards. OBD2 is mandated for US vehicles from 1996, EU petrol vehicles from 2001, EU diesel vehicles from 2004, Australian and New Zealand petrol vehicles from 2006, and Australian and New Zealand diesel vehicles from 2007.
Important: Piston only accesses data your vehicle provides via the OBD2 standard.
