Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5: Leaks Suggest New Permanent Dress-Up Mode
New leaks suggest a permanent dress-up game mode is coming to Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) in Version 1.5, slated for release on January 22nd. This mode, initially introduced as a "Bangboo Beauty Contest" event, will allow players to customize the outfits of Eous, the game's mascot Bangboo.
Version 1.4 recently introduced new S-Rank characters and permanent combat-focused game modes. This upcoming addition marks a departure from the usual action RPG gameplay, mirroring previous events like the "Bangboo vs Ethereal" tower defense event. Reliable leaker, Flying Flame, has shared screenshots showcasing various clothing items for Eous. While the dress-up mode will become permanent, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also unlock a long-awaited skin for Nicole Demara.
Beyond the dress-up mode, other leaks hint at a temporary platformer game mode. This aligns with HoYoverse's history of adding non-combat permanent game modes to its other titles, such as Honkai: Star Rail's cocktail-making and Genshin Impact's card game.
Version 1.5 is also confirmed to introduce S-Rank characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, a new area, and a new chapter in the main storyline. With the update fast approaching, official announcements are expected soon.
