Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6: 'Among the Forgotten Ruins' Unveiled
HoYoverse has revealed details for Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.6 update, "Among the Forgotten Ruins," launching March 12th. This update significantly expands the storyline and introduces new characters and gameplay elements in New Eridu.
The Core of Version 1.6
Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, involving a mysterious artifact connected to the Sacrifice. The phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, aims to disrupt the Mayor's plans, creating a complex web of competing factions vying for control of the artifact. The allegiances of Hugo and Vivian remain ambiguous, adding another layer of intrigue.
New and Returning Characters
Version 1.6 introduces Anby Demara, formerly Soldier 0 and leader of Silver Squad, as a new S-Rank Electric Attack Agent wielding dual swords. Trigger, an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent and ace sniper from Obol Squad, also joins the fray, utilizing Sniper Mode for strategic attacks and Quick Assist setups.
Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini (A-Rank Physical Stun Agent), Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent), and Zhuyuan (S-Rank Ether Attack Agent), each featured in rerun banners.
Fresh Gameplay Experiences
The update introduces Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, a challenging new level for seasoned players. The new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, introduces dynamic stage effects, such as damage boosts based on accumulated coins.
Trigger's TV Schedule offers a unique third-person sniper experience, while "March On, Tiny Titan!" and "Little Knight's Big Charge" feature Bangboo drone control, presenting distinct challenges and rewards, including Pulchra as a playable agent.
