World of Warcraft's Detective Title Remains Accessible: A Guide to Finding Alyx and the Missing Celebration Crates
World of Warcraft players can still acquire the coveted Detective title and unlock the path to the Incognitro Felcycle mount, even after the 20th-anniversary event concluded. This is thanks to the relocation of Alyx, the key NPC, to Dornogal.
Alyx, a Lightforged Draenei, now resides near the hot springs northwest of the Delver's Headquarters in Dornogal, conveniently located before the Foundation Hall. They've retained their crucial clue board, detailing the locations of 11 missing Celebration Crates.
Obtaining the Detective Title:
-
Locate Alyx: Find Alyx in Dornogal, using the provided description for precise location. (Note: Players must be level 68 to access Dornogal, and level 10 to begin Celebration Crate quests).
-
Gather the Crates: Consult Alyx's clue board to discover the whereabouts of the 11 hidden Celebration Crates scattered throughout the World of Warcraft.
-
Claim Your Rewards: Return the crates to Alyx. Six crates unlock the "Crate Insurance Agent" achievement, while all eleven grant "No Crate Left Behind," "Azeroth's Greatest Detective," and most importantly, the Detective title. This title is the key to initiating the questline leading to the Incognitro mount.
Important Note: While the Detective title and associated mount remain accessible, other Guest Relations questlines from the anniversary event are no longer available. This means achievements like "Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager" and "I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats," along with their associated rewards, are permanently unobtainable.
This strategic move by Blizzard ensures players won't miss out on this unique mount, even after the anniversary celebration ended. The continued availability of the Detective title and the Incognitro mount questline highlights Blizzard's commitment to player progression and the longevity of their content.
