Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their sights are now set on the Witcher series. A concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, created by the Sora AI YouTube channel, has recently surfaced.
The trailer's aesthetic is reminiscent of 1980s films, achieved through the creative application of neural network technology. The video features many recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While some visual alterations are present, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of The Witcher 3 hinted at plans to incorporate Triss's wedding into the game. Originally conceived as the "Ashen Marriage" quest in Novigrad, the storyline involves Triss's burgeoning feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt aids in the wedding preparations, tackling tasks such as ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the chosen gift. Less elaborate presents are less well-received, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a much stronger emotional response.
