How To Find and Give Weapons to the Earth Sprite in Fortnite

by Nathan Jan 25,2025

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, ethereal beings offering players helpful items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive Sprite, is found only on the new Chapter 6 map in Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Ranked modes.

Earth Sprite Locations:

The Earth Sprite boasts nearly two dozen potential spawn points, each marked by a solitary lantern (similar to the one shown in the image below). However, only two Sprites appear per match. Locating one requires checking multiple potential spots.

Offering Weapons to the Earth Sprite:

Finding the Sprite is the challenge. Once located, simply interact with it (using the interact button). This will transfer your currently equipped weapon to the Sprite, completing the Week 1 Quest and awarding 25,000 XP. Your lost weapon is replaced with a random Legendary weapon.

While finding the Earth Sprite requires persistence, the reward of a high-rarity weapon makes the effort worthwhile.

Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
