The recent devstream was packed with announcements. These included an upcoming anime short for Warframe: 1999 (produced in collaboration with The Line studio), updates to the ongoing ARG featuring the fictional boy band On-Lyne (even catalogued by the developers!), and a wealth of details on Warframe: 1999 itself.
Warframe: 1999 features include the new Faceoff PvPvE mode, the return of voice actor Neil Newborn (Baldur's Gate 3), romantic storylines involving the Hex members in 1999, and more information about the 59th Warframe, Cyte-09.
A Massive Expansion
Warframe's mobile release is already incredibly rich in content, and the upcoming 1999 expansion promises to be a significant addition – almost a standalone prequel to the Warframe universe. This, coupled with Warframe's presence at Tokyo Game Show 2024, sets the stage for a major launch.
