Six TotK Zonai Devices Now Available as Magnetic Capsules
Nintendo Tokyo's gachapon (gacha machine) now features six magnetic capsule toys based on the iconic Zonai Devices from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This exclusive collection is only available at the Tokyo store.
While the game boasts a vast array of Zonai Devices, this collection includes miniature versions of the Zonai Fan, Flame Emitter, Portable Pot, Shock Emitter, Big Wheel, and Rocket. Each device features a magnet designed to resemble the Ultrahand's adhesive, mirroring its in-game functionality. The capsules themselves are styled after the in-game Device Dispensers.
Forget Zonai Charges! These collectibles are purchased directly from the gacha machine at approximately $4 per capsule, with a two-capsule purchase limit per transaction. To obtain additional capsules, customers must rejoin the queue, which, given the game's popularity, may be lengthy.
Previous Nintendo Gachapon Releases
Nintendo's gachapon initiative began in June 2021 with the Controller Button Collection at their Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto locations, featuring retro Famicom and NES controller keychains. A second wave, launched in July 2024, expanded the collection to include SNES, N64, and GameCube controllers.
These exclusive collectibles are also available at Nintendo's Check-In booth at Narita Airport. While the Zonai Devices are currently exclusive to the Tokyo store, future availability at other locations is possible. Resellers may also offer these items, but at a potentially inflated price.
