Get ready, mobile gamers! My Time at Sandrock, the charming farm life sim RPG, is venturing onto Android devices with an exclusive beta test. The catch? This initial test is limited to players in China.
For those unfamiliar, My Time at Sandrock, the sequel to the popular My Time at Portia, launched on PC in 2023. Developed by Pathea Games and published on Steam by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment, the mobile beta (in China) is being handled by Conscience Studio.
When's the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta?
This marks the game's first-ever mobile test, a technical trial focusing on optimizing the game for mobile devices. Expect some rough edges as the developers fine-tune resource loading and overall performance.
The beta, accessible via the Haoyou Kuaibao platform, runs from January 23rd. Application deadline for Chinese players is January 22nd. Note: save data will be wiped at the test's conclusion. The beta covers the first 30 days of gameplay (chapters 1-13). Interested Chinese players should visit the official beta test page for details.
What's the Story?
Set 300 years after the cataclysmic "Day of Calamity," My Time at Sandrock plunges you into a post-apocalyptic desert. As Sandrock's newest Builder, you'll gather resources, craft, forge friendships, and even battle monsters. The game's distinctive art style is undeniably charming.
