Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan, a threat capable of obliterating existence. The game's captivating story and unique mechanics create an immersive experience as the stakes escalate.
The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item, integral to a challenging and extensive side quest. Obtaining it is only the first step; its true purpose unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, emerging as the final item before the final boss encounter. To secure it, advance through the narrative until you reach Sanctum, nestled within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared; it frequently summons allies and employs "Consume," an attack that drains 90% of your health. Kina's healing abilities are essential here. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly eases the battle.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned foes. Consider including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict substantial damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory through the Balcony. Amidst the scattered debris, locate a chest on your right—it holds the Tachyon Medal.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
Activating the Tachyon Medal requires completing two objectives. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, finish the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These stars appear in eight locations, the first two integrated into the main storyline:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat the bosses in this precise order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests below the Altar become accessible. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Opening all three chests reveals a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, preserving levels, items, and equipment. While enemies gain strength, this shouldn't pose significant challenges, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
