After two years of trying, streamer finished the impossible FromSoftware challenge

FromSoftware games are renowned for their challenging gameplay, and Kai Cenat's over a thousand deaths while trying to complete Elden Ring are a testament to that. This makes the achievements of players who take on additional challenges even more remarkable.

Streamer Dinossindgeil has etched his name into gaming history by becoming the first person to successfully complete the God Run 3 SL1 challenge. This grueling feat involves completing seven FromSoftware games consecutively without leveling up or taking a single hit. Dinossindgeil dedicated nearly two years to this challenge, and upon defeating the final boss, Soul of Cinder in Dark Souls III, he was overcome with emotion, visibly breaking down in tears.

The God Run 3 SL1 is widely regarded as the most demanding challenge within the FromSoftware community. It requires players to navigate through seven games in a row, with no opportunity to level up and the strict rule of taking zero damage. The challenge's rules are unforgiving: a single hit forces the player to restart the entire run, regardless of their progress.

Dinossindgeil's journey to complete this challenge was filled with countless attempts. In the summer of 2024, one of his runs was thwarted by a bug in Dark Souls II, where an arrow unexpectedly clipped through a wall. At that point, he had already conquered Elden Ring and Dark Souls I, but the rules compelled him to start anew.

It will be fascinating to observe FromSoftware's response to this monumental achievement. What is undeniable, however, is that Dinossindgeil has cemented his legacy in the annals of gaming history.
