RuneScape increases level cap for Woodcutting and Fletching to 110

by Audrey Jan 26,2025

RuneScape's Woodcutting and Fletching skills are getting a major upgrade! The highly anticipated level 110 update is now live across all platforms, pushing skill limits beyond the previous 99 cap.

This Christmas, RuneScape players can enjoy a wealth of new wood-chopping action. The update introduces fresh mechanics and expands the skill trees for Woodcutting and Fletching, allowing for even more advanced techniques and rewards. Firemaking also receives a boost.

New challenges await with the introduction of Eternal Magic Trees at Eagle's Peak, designed to test the skills of level 100+ players. Enchanted Bird Nests and new consumable items offer performance enhancements. Fletching now includes the creation of short bows and crossbows. A level 100 Masterwork Bow allows for multi-skill integration, and augmentable hatchets (levels 90 and 100) will conquer even the sturdiest oaks.

Beyond the Grind

While the "chop 'till you drop" aspect is playfully emphasized, the update's significance lies in expanding the already extensive skill system within RuneScape. The level 99 barrier removal opens exciting possibilities for skill progression and adds countless hours of gameplay.
