PUBG Mobile has announced the opening of registration for the 2025 Global Open, offering amateur teams and players worldwide a chance to compete for a share of a $500,000 prize pool. Registration is open until February 9th.
The main event will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from April 12th to 13th. This tournament is part of PUBG Mobile Esports' significant investment in growing its grassroots competitive scene, with a reported $10 million allocated to prize pools, third-party tournament incentives, and more.
To participate, teams must successfully navigate a series of open qualifiers. Only a select few will advance to the main event in Uzbekistan.
Open to All
Building a thriving esports ecosystem is challenging, but Krafton's focus on grassroots competition for PUBG Mobile appears to be paying off. While competition will be fierce with such a substantial prize pool at stake, this tournament demonstrates PUBG Mobile's commitment to its community, particularly ahead of its return to the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia.
