Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 28th, 2025. This charming puzzler, developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, was originally released in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC to widespread praise, earning a strong "83/100" rating on OpenCritic.
The delay, announced shortly before the initial December launch, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience. While a new release date was promised for 2025, the official January 28th announcement has now solidified the PlayStation launch.
Despite the confirmed release date, a PS Store page for Botany Manor remains absent, meaning pre-ordering or wishlisting isn't yet possible. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with its pricing on other platforms, and will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is not anticipated for the PlayStation release.
Botany Manor's arrival will significantly enhance the PlayStation puzzle game library, adding to its already impressive collection. The January 28th launch date will also see the release of other notable titles on the PS Store, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness. Following its PlayStation launch, Botany Manor will be available across all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce its next project.
