Microids is bringing back the beloved 1994 action-adventure game, Little Big Adventure, with a remastered version titled Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest, launching this autumn on all major platforms. This modernized release retains the original's charm while boasting significant upgrades. Developed by 2.21 and published by Microids, the game builds upon the legacy of Adeline Software International, the original developer now defunct, and its creator, Frederick Raynal, a former Infogrames designer.
Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest offers a refreshed gaming experience. Expect a captivating story with enhanced depth, redesigned controls and level layouts, an improved version of Twinsen's signature weapon, and stunning new visuals. The soundtrack, composed by the original's Philippe Vachey, adds another layer of nostalgic appeal.
The game unfolds on the planet Twinsun, where four species coexist peacefully until Dr. Funfrock's cloning and teleportation technology throws everything into chaos. Players take on the role of Twinsen, tasked with overcoming intricate puzzles and challenging enemies to defeat Funfrock and restore order to Twinsun.
Following previous re-releases on GOG.com, PC, Mac, Android, and iOS, Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest marks a significant return for the franchise. This remake, born from conversations as early as 2021 involving co-creator Didier Chanfray, will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG).
