The game unfolds in a stunningly rendered post-apocalyptic UK. Players manage a settlement, utilizing salvaged resources to construct farms, lumber mills, and housing.

After Inc. seamlessly blends survival strategy and city management, incorporating elements reminiscent of 4X games. Players scavenge resources, expand their settlements, and face ethically challenging decisions regarding resource allocation and survival strategies.
