Infinity Nikki Reports Huge Earnings During First Month

Infinity Nikki's Phenomenal Debut: $16 Million in First-Month Revenue

Infinity Nikki, the latest installment in the popular Nikki series, has shattered expectations, generating nearly $16 million in mobile game revenue within its first month. This surpasses previous Nikki titles by a staggering 40 times, highlighting the game's immense popularity. The game's success is largely attributed to its strong performance in China, where it garnered over 5 million downloads.

Developed by Infold Games (Papergames in China), Infinity Nikki launched in December 2024, captivating players with its enchanting Miraland setting and unique gameplay. Players guide Nikki and her cat, Momo, through diverse nations, solving puzzles and overcoming challenges using magically-powered outfits fueled by Whimstars. The emphasis on stylish outfits, combined with the engaging open-world exploration, has clearly resonated with a massive audience.

Initial figures from AppMagic (via Pocket Gamer) reveal a remarkable launch week revenue of $3.51 million, followed by $4.26 million and $3.84 million in the subsequent weeks. While weekly revenue dipped to $1.66 million by the fifth week, the cumulative total still reached nearly $16 million. This dwarfs the first-month earnings of Love Nikki ($383,000) and significantly outpaces Shining Nikki's international launch ($6.2 million). These figures only reflect mobile platform earnings; revenue from the PC and PlayStation 5 versions is not included.

China's Key Role and Revenue Fluctuations

China's contribution to Infinity Nikki's success is undeniable, accounting for over 42% of total downloads. The game's daily revenue peaked at over $1.1 million on December 6th, but subsequently fluctuated. While daily earnings declined, reaching a low of $141,000 on December 26th, a Version 1.1 update spurred a significant rebound, with revenue jumping to $665,000 on December 30th.

Infinity Nikki is currently available for free on iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5. The developers plan to sustain the game's momentum through regular updates and seasonal events, ensuring continued player engagement and further growth.
