Honkai Star Rail v3.1 Ignites Hope

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne," launches February 26th, escalating the Flame-Chase storyline. This update introduces thrilling new challenges and mysteries for Trailblazers to unravel.

New 5-Star Characters Join the Fray

Version 3.1 welcomes two formidable 5-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the acquisition of Nikador's Coreflame, players will explore the Grove of Epiphany, a new map, as part of the main Trailblaze Mission. This mission involves rescuing survivors and uncovering the truth behind a devastating catastrophe, ultimately leading to the retrieval of Cerces' Coreflame to restore hope to Okhema.

The adventure delves into the Abyss of Fate (formerly Janusopolis), now revealed in its Day State. This location unveils the long-lost history of the Era Chrysea and, significantly, Tribbie's past. Tribbie (Tribios), a demigod and 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, is the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, entrusted with a prophecy of Deliverance.

Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, is a fierce 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. His combat style involves sacrificing HP to power up, transforming into an enhanced state where he automatically attacks enemies during his turns.

Returning Characters and Events

Version 3.1 also features the return of limited 5-star characters Yunli (first half of the warp event) and Huohuo (second half).

The Divergent Universe event returns with a research focus on Amphoreus and a new Day and Night System impacting battles. Combat mechanics change based on the time of day, altering buffs and effects.

The "Awooo Firm" event tasks players with managing a chimera squad in Okhema.
