In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, obtaining Deer Skin can be crucial for various crafting needs. Whether you're in the mood to hunt or prefer the convenience of buying, here's how you can acquire Deer Skin in the game.
Where to Get Deer Skin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
To get Deer Skin directly from nature, you'll need to unlock a Survival perk that allows you to skin animals. Once unlocked, head to the woods where deer are commonly found. They are plentiful, so you won't have to venture far to find them. Skinning these animals will provide you with the Deer Skins you need for crafting.
Where to Buy Deer Skin
If hunting isn't your thing, you can purchase Deer Skin from various NPCs. Check out poacher and bandit camps, as they often have Deer Skin available. Additionally, you can buy from:
- Weaponsmiths and blacksmiths at Trosky Castle
- Saddlers at Trosky Castle
- Tanners at Vidlak Pond
- Gamekeepers at Zhelejov
Trader NPCs are scattered across every settlement in the game, and they usually have a few Deer Skins available for purchase every week. Personally, I find that the NPCs at Trosky Castle are the best stocked, but other traders in smaller settlements also carry Deer Skins.
Keep in mind that the gamekeeper at Zhelejov might sometimes be bugged, preventing trading or selling. In such cases, you might need to resort to pickpocketing to obtain a few Deer Skins from him.
