The final two free updates for Dead Cells mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been delayed until February 18th, 2025, developer Playdigious announced. These updates, already released on console and PC, introduce significant new content.
Clean Cut boasts two fresh weapons: the utility-focused Sewing Scissors and the brutal Giant Comb. A new character, the Tailor's Daughter, allows players to customize their character's appearance.
The End is Near update brings a trio of formidable new enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. It also includes new skills and colorless mutations, such as Demonic Strength, a powerful curse-based damage boost.
Playdigious's commitment to providing extensive free content for Dead Cells is commendable. While the conclusion of these free updates allows the studio to pursue other projects, the substantial additions in "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near" justify the wait.
Both updates will launch simultaneously on February 18th, 2025, for Android and iOS devices. New players are encouraged to consult a weapon tier list to prepare for the challenging gameplay.
