Sony Pictures has thrilled fans by announcing the release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, set to slice its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. This exciting news was unveiled during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they also revealed that they have secured worldwide theatrical rights for the film, excluding Japan. This fall, US audiences can look forward to the cinematic experience, while over 80 other countries will witness its premiere on September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will handle the release starting September 19, 2025.

The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, marking it as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a boy who gains a new lease on life after forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This alliance grants him the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him from a mere boy to the formidable Chainsaw Man.

The upcoming film, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, will introduce viewers to the character Reze, a key figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the movie brings back the entire voice cast from the anime to reprise their roles.
