Koei Tecmo and Akatsuki Games have shared the unfortunate news that their RPG will soon be shutting down, but this closure only affects the global version. The in-game purchase system has already been disabled, but any Lodestar Gems you have can still be used until the end. Koei Tecmo has promised to roll out new content and events leading up to the shutdown.
Adding to the irony, the global version had just celebrated its first anniversary on January 25th. So, to the global players, it's a bittersweet "happy anniversary, now pack your bags."
Why Is It Shutting Down?
The developers have stated that after assessing the situation, they found it impossible to continue delivering the game at a satisfactory level for players, leading to the decision to shut down.
