Wang Yue, an upcoming fantasy ARPG, is gearing up for its technical testing phase after securing its publishing license in China. This initial test run will involve a select group of players to identify bugs and gather feedback on gameplay before the official release.
A World Divided
The Wang Yue tech test plunges players into a sun-scorched world, literally cracked in two. Two distinct continents now float independently due to some unusual gravitational anomaly. Tian Yue City, a breathtaking inverted metropolis, hangs suspended in the sky above a ruined landscape. Players take on the role of Qing Wu, a mysterious character thrust into this bizarre new reality after a betrayal. Qing Wu must unravel the mysteries surrounding the now-revered sun, the upside-down city, and those seeking to end their life.
Player Agency and Choice
Wang Yue breaks from traditional open-world conventions. Forget repetitive quests; this game emphasizes exploration and player-driven narratives. Explore the skies above Tian Yue City or delve into the secrets hidden within the ruins below. The world responds dynamically to player actions. NPCs will react to your behavior—some might even call the authorities if you misbehave, while others may reward helpfulness.
The developers are actively seeking player input. Future discussions, design contests, and other community events will provide opportunities to shape the game's development. Registration for the technical test is now open on the official website.
