Uttar Pradesh has launched an innovative initiative to enhance public health service management through the eKavach app. Developed and implemented by the National Health Mission (NHM) of Uttar Pradesh, this Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) app is designed for use by frontline health workers including ASHA workers, ANM, ASHA Sangini, and Community Health Officers (CHOs). The eKavach app leverages Argusoft's Open Source and Digital Public Goods (DPG) Certified platform, MEDPlat, to streamline health services.
The app offers a comprehensive suite of features that include workflow management and referral systems for the Family Folder, Reproductive, Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMCH+), Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), Nutrition, and other health services. This integration ensures that health workers can efficiently manage and track various health programs and patient data in real-time.
