Objectives and Challenges
In Balloon Drops, you'll face four possible objectives on each level:
- Score Quota: Reach a specific score to progress to the next level.
- Removing Dark Pulps: Clear balloons on top of dark pulps to remove them. Dark pulps come in three levels, with the darkest requiring three clearances.
- Bringing Down Popcorns: Guide popcorns to the bottom of the game board.
- Freeing Balloons from Nets: Match balloons behind nets with two others of the same kind to free them.
Additionally, each level may present two challenges:
- Time Challenge: Complete objectives before the timer runs out.
- Swap Limit: Achieve your goals before exhausting your swaps.
Obstacles
Navigate through various obstacles, including:
- Party Hats/Cupcakes: These cannot be moved and are cleared by adjacent balloon matches or specific power-ups. Clearing them leaves a level 3 dark pulp.
- Netted Balloons: These are immobile and can only be freed by matching them with two balloons of the same type or by power-up chains.
Power-Ups and Mystery Items
Enhance your gameplay with power-ups earned by matching four or more balloons. There are three types of power-ups:
- Checkered Balloon: Available in horizontal and vertical orientations.
- Double Balloon: Doubles the impact of your matches.
- Rainbow Balloon: Matches with any color, making it a versatile tool.
Mystery items add an element of chance to the game. Unbox them by matching the gift box color with the balloon color. These items could be power-ups or obstacles, potentially making the level easier or harder depending on your luck.
